Ginnifer Mastarone

Ginnifer Mastarone, PhD, Research Manager, leads research design and methodology to deliver commercial intelligence to Darwin’s pharmaceutical and biotech partners. She uses qualitative and quantitative methods to study how health systems and providers make strategic, clinical, operational, and financial decisions. Ginnifer completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Portland Health Care System and Oregon Health & Science University, where she evaluated health information technology, EHR templates, and clinical applications, and studied clinician and patient workflows to improve care coordination. She has also held research and management roles at Facebook, HubSpot, and JPMorgan Chase. She holds a PhD in Communication, with a concentration in survey research, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
