J&J's Janssen Oncology launches Cancer.com website
December 15, 2017

The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) announced the launch of Cancer.com last Wednesday. Janssen Oncology created the site in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, CancerCare and the Cancer Support Community. Content on Cancer.com can be tailored to individual visitors based on cancer type and where they are in their “care journey”—diagnosis, treatment, remission or relapse. Currently, the site contains information on breast cancer, lung cancer, multiple myeloma, prostate cancer and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. An exclusive digital health coaching tool on the website is designed to help visitors “pave a path toward better health outcomes” by building or strengthening various skills. The Advocacy Connector helps visitors find local resources. “We understand that hearing the word ‘cancer’ is overwhelming, and the search that follows for relevant support can be daunting. This is what inspired Cancer.com,” said Tom Cavanaugh, president, Janssen Biotech, Oncology. “As part of our enduring commitment to the cancer community and to working toward victories over cancer, we are excited to debut Cancer.com to educate and empower patients and their caregivers.”
